THE WRITING PURCHASE LLC
There’s less to remember now, up here in the mountains, not as many words or memories. Afternoons pass in silence and my thoughts aren’t always describable; I try to listen for love and want for peace.
Snow falls from somewhere close by, perhaps god is the smoke rising from a hidden cabin at an elevation not as distant once presumed. I donned the snow shoes that my mom bought me for Hanukkah, but then ventured up the trail in just my boots; up here in the mountains there’s less to encumber each footstep.
The snowfall helps to accumulate my unabridged. Silence to simplify meandering run-ons into something that I actually want to say; stillness all melts into I love you.

"Congratulations to H. Boris Timberg of Hatboro, PA, on winning The New Millennium Prize for Nonfiction, for “Ladders.” This powerful story, with its gritty realism alongside portrayals of sweet family moments, never shrinks from the heartaches and challenges that accompany our closest relationships. We are honored to publish it."
"Ben Winderman is an excellent writer. He's direct, but with flair and flavor. Ben's also a candid storyteller. When I read Ben's work - no matter the genre - I'm left with a feeling of satisfaction in that I've gotten Ben's best once again... but that he didn't have to try too hard to deliver it. Talent took over. Ben led and the words followed. Good for Ben. Great for us."
"Ben Winderman has a talent for turning the mundane into the extraordinary, and a gift for taking stories that might otherwise be untold and giving them a voice. His effortless prose is compelling and thought provoking. Having known him for over 20 years, I have seen him refine his craft delivering impressive results. He is generous with his thoughts and opinions providing clarity and strengthening the story being told. Ben is a gifted writer, but even more importantly, an insightful and versatile voice."
